Arriving in Denver

Denver, Colorado has one airport, Denver International Airport (DEN). The airport is usually referred to as DIA locally, but when purchasing airline tickets, its abbreviation is DEN.

Denver International Airport is approximately 25 miles from downtown Denver and about 30 miles from the University of Denver. Ground transportation from the airport to Downtown and other locations is readily available:

Lodging

We highly recommend staying either in Downtown Denver or at a hotel along the Lightrail or the 16th Street Mall, which is a pedestrian mall on 16th in Downtown Denver.

We have arranged a group rate of $119 USD for rooms at the Magnolia Hotel in Denver. To receive this rate, you must reserve your room through our group rate portal. Note that this rate only lasts until November 25, 2013

Travel to the University of Denver

The University of Denver has a Lightrail Station (note this link takes you to information regarding the schedule for that station). Denver is a sprawling city with fairly bad traffic, so we highly suggest that you avoid driving if possible and use the Lightrail to get to and from the University.

To get to the University, you will want to take lines E, F or H. Depending on your location, fairs run between $2.25 USD to $5.00 USD per trip. Note that for the most part, it does not matter which line (E, F, or H) you take as they all stop at the University. However, if you are not staying downtown, you should verify this ahead of time.

Travel from the University of Denver to Bistro Vendôme

Bistro Vendôme is located approximately at 16th and Larimer. If you are traveling from the University of Denver, you will want to take the Lightrail towards Downtown. You can use the following map. Note that you will go from the Lightrail and get on the 16th Street Bus, which is called the Free Mall Ride and take this 4 stops to Larimer. The Bistro is about half-way down the block in what looks like an alley. Google Maps might help you navigate
